Two Men Hospitalized After Three Open Fire in Nicetown

Police are investigating a shooting that hospitalized two men in Nicetown early this morning.

The victims, aged 45 and 36, were walking home through a rear driveway on the 5000 block of Ormes Street at 12:15 a.m. when three black men wearing hoodies came up behind them.

One of the men pulled out a silver handgun and fired four times, striking the first victim once in the left leg and the second victim once in the back. The suspects then ran down the driveway.

Both wounded men were taken to Einstein Medical Center in stable condition.

Police are searching for three black males between the ages of 18 and 20 wearing black hoodies.
