Two people slashed in separate Center City attacks

Police are investigating two separate attacks that happened early Tuesday morning in Center City.
The first incident “happened before 6 a.m. Tuesday near the Riverloft Apartment Homes at 23rd and Walnut streets,” ABC news reports.
This first attack left the victim with wounds to the side of the body and hands. The victim was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital, reportedly in stable condition.
Police responded to a second attack near 21st and Arch streets. That attack left a victim with a wound to the face.
“The suspect in both cases is described as a black male in his 20s, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. He may have been carrying a white bag,” ABC News reports.
Police are determining if the two attacks were related.
