UPDATE: 4 p.m.
Police said all nine female Overbrook High School students were charged with disorderly conduct.
School District spokesman Fernando Gallard said the fight started in a third-floor hallway around 10 a.m. Monday morning.
Gallard said an administrative staff member suffered a minor injury, but no other serious injuries were reported.
All students, he added, will face disciplinary actions from the school district.
“We first suspend students and then we’ll review to see what occurred to be able to follow-up with further steps,” he said.
