Police are investigating a stabbing inside the the National Constitution Center near 5th and Arch streets early this morning.
Two employees were working in the building’s kitchen when, around 3:30 a.m, an argument broke out, escalating into a physical fight.
One employee, 36, stabbed the other, 21, in the leg three times.
The victim was taken to Jefferson University Hospital in stable condition. The suspect fled by the time police arrived. Detectives will be issuing a warrant for his arrest.
UPDATE: The suspect turned himself in this afternoon. Detectives are just beginning to question him and are unsure of what, if any, charges will be filed.
