A Ursinus College student was struck and killed by a car Thursday evening near the school’s Collegeville, Montgomery County, campus, reports said.
The student, whose identity has not yet been released, was struck around 6:30 p.m. on Main Street between Fifth and Sixth streets, according to published reports. The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
The student was pronounced dead at the scene.
The college addressed the incident in a tweet that said:

“We are saddened to report this evening’s fatal accident involved an Ursinus student. More details to come.”
Students at Ursinus are reportedly wrapping up finals, the last of which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, according to ABC 6.
