Just in time to defrost us from the impending deep freeze, Valanni’s new lounge, Social, is up and hopping. The superplush space is outfitted with cozy white leather banquettes to take in the bottle service and DJs, and there’s also a menu of small bites.
Their “Sangarita” is available by the pitcher (your move, February), but in the meantime, you can preview one at home.

2 parts Jose Cuervo Tequila
1 part triple sec
1 part fresh sour mix
How to make it
Add sugar to rim of martini glass with the juice of an orange. Shake ingredients with ice and strain into the martini glass and add orange zest. Float Malbec wine on top of martini.
