Van crashes into Olney home after two inside shot, one fatally

One man is dead and a second in critical at Einstein Medical Center this morning after a double shooting in the Olney section of Philadelphia.

The two were in a minivan that WPVI reports hit a tree before crashing into a home in the 5500 block of North American Street at 12:45 a.m. this morning.

Witnesses told cops three people were seen running from the van after the crash.

Five people inside the house, which sustained interior and exterior damage, were not injured, 6abc reported on its website.

The dead man, who was shot in the head, was 21; the other vic, 20, is in stable, WPVI reports. A gun and marijuana were found in the van.
