New video released Thursday shows the arrest of the suspected Church’s Chicken shooter, captured via SEPTA police body cams.
Officers swooped in to a Route 23 bus earlier this month to apprehend 70-year-old Ronald Graham, the man authorities believe shot an employee in the restaurant on the 3600 block of North Broad Street on Sunday, March 6. The worker, 19-year-old Josiah Myers, was in stable condition after the altercation, officials said.
Shortly after the shooting, police released video of the suspect captured by surveillance cameras inside the chain.

That footage caught the attention of SEPTA employees, who recognized him as a particularly hostile passenger who had filed myriad complaints and earned a reputation among drivers, according to Stephanie Farr of Philly.com.
“He apparently calls customer service and he’s an angry rider, so much so that the woman that saw the video knew who it was and knew it was that angry man,” SEPTA Police Chief Thomas Nestel III told the news site. “Transit police had also had incidents involving Mr. Graham, so a number of officers recognized him.”
They were also able to track his usual route by studying his many complaints, according to Philly.com.

In the new video, officers wearing cameras on their chests clear a bus of passengers before waking Graham, who appears to have been sleeping in his seat, then arresting the suspect.
