Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who brutally attacked a taxi driver Sunday afternoon.
The cabbie, an employee with All Threes Taxi company, picked up a male passenger who went by the name “James” at around 12:15 p.m. in the Mill Creek section of the city. Upon arriving at the passenger’s destination, the 5800 block of Race Street, “James” seized the driver from the back seat. As the driver struggled to break free, the passenger pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the back, police said.
