VIDEO: Couple steals DVDs, deodorant in Family Dollar burglary

Police are looking for a couple caught on camera in the early morning hours of May 29 burglarizing a dollar store in the Glenwood section of North Philadelphia.

Surveillance video fromaround 3:10 a.mshows an unknown man with a white plastic bag wrapped around his head breaking a top front window of the Family Dollar store at 1925 W. Allegheny Ave., climbing through the opening and hopping down into the store.

He can be seen on tape grabbing multiple items and climbing back out through the window.

Investigators said about 30 minutes later, an unknown woman entered the store through the same opening.

She can be seen on video perusing the aisles, throwing various items into a large plastic bag and leaving the store through the top front window.

In all, the couple stole DVDs, assorted electronics and deodorants with an estimated value of $150, according to police.

They then fled the store in an unknown direction.

The man is described as a black male, last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket and pants and black shoes.

The woman is described as a black female with a thin build.

She was last seen wearing a dark-colored bandanna on her head, a white shirt, a bright orange jacket and blue jeans.
