VIDEO: Eagles fan gets fired up over Kaepernick

Let’s hope the Eagles’ 2016 season goes better than this.

In a video posted to Facebook Monday, one especially angry Birds fan sent 49ers ColinKaepernick a message. Or at least he tried.

In response to the quarterback’srefusal to stand for thenational anthem, this fired-up fan inRandall Cunningham’sNo. 12 shirttries to light Kaepernick’sjersey on fire. He even adds lighter fluid.

Spoiler alert: It doesn’t work.

It turns out the “fan” was actually comedian Ed Bassmaster, whose alter egos include a rather Delco-looking Eagles fan named Always Teste and a European guy by the name of Girard Douche.

The video has been viewed more than 1.3 million times and has been shared by other Facebook accounts, including Hood ESPN.
