Detectives released surveillance video and images Monday in an attempt to identify four gunmen who fired more than 50 shots last week outside Temple University Hospital, leaving three people injured.
The shooting occurred just before 12:30 a.m. Thursday, June 1, outside the hospital’s emergency room on the 3400 block of Germantown Avenue in North Philadelphia, according to authorities.
In the footage, a black Dodge Charger is seen stopping before four suspects jump out and begin shooting. Investigators said the vehicle then turned on Rising Sun Avenue in the direction of Broad Street.
Three men – ages 18, 22 and 25 – were struck by the gunfire, and all suffered nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the PPD’s Shooting Investigations Group at 215-686-8271; call or text 215-686-8477; or go to www.phillypolice.com/forms/submit-a-tip.
