The hero Philly cop who survived an ambush attack earlier this year by an allegedly ISIS-inspired gunmanblew away Phillies fans at Monday’s home opener when he threw the game’s opening pitch — then turned around and proposed to his girlfriend. The lucky lady, who was not identified, accepted Officer Jesse Hartnett’s proposal as crowds cheered.

Archer is charged with attempted murder. Investigators said while Archer claimed he was inspired by ISIS, he had no formal ties to the organization.
