A police investigation into an escaped rodeo bull that injured 10 people at the Harford Fair on Friday night has concluded that the animal’s release was accidental, according to a release sent today by the Pennsylvania State Police.
Four bulls got loose as they were being loaded onto a trailer at the fair in Susquehanna County shortly before 11 p.m. Three of those animals were immediately captured, while one went on a
rampage around the fairgrounds.
Ten people were taken to area hospitals – nine via ambulance and one in a helicopter – with injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Some of those victims
suffered direct contact with the bull, while others were hurt as the crowd attempted to run away.
