Detectives released video Thursday in an attempt to identify a man who shot and killed a teenager a couple weeks ago in Germantown.
In the surveillance clip, the gunman encounters the victim, a 19-year-old man, inside a gas station, and, as the teen leaves the store, the suspect shoots him in the doorway, following up to fire multiple shots at point-blank range.
Investigators said the men exchanged heated words inside the station. The incident occurred just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at 100 W. Queen Lane. The victim was also armed, according to police.
Authorities described the suspect as a Black man between the ages of 20 and 30 with a medium build and complexion.

Shootings leave 1 dead, 2 injured
Officers rushed a 22-year-old woman to the hospital after she was discovered with a gunshot wound Wednesday inside a West Philadelphia house.
She was shot once in the left side of her chest just before 2 p.m. inside a property on the 400 block of N. Felton Street, police said. She died a short time later at Penn Presbyopia Medical Center.
No arrests have been made, and there was no word on a motive in the killing.
Two people were injured in shootings Thursday, and a man was seriously injured following a stabbing.
Authorities said a 27-year-old man showed up to Albert Einstein Medical Center at around midnight Thursday with stab wounds to his chest and shoulder.
Detectives are working to determine where he was attacked. He was in critical condition, police said.
In West Philadelphia, a 58-year-old man was shot twice in the leg at around 1:45 p.m. Thursday on the 6000 block of Larchwood Avenue. He was transported to the hospital, where he is in stable condition, authorities said.
Police said a 32-year-old woman arrived at Einstein just after 1:30 a.m. Thursday after being shot in the left thigh on the 4100 block of N. Broad Street in Nicetown.
Her injuries are not expected to be life-threatening, according to authorities.
Police reported no arrests in connection with any of the incidents.
Police searching for gunman, possible accomplice
Investigators are searching for a gunman who shot a man outside a West Philadelphia corner store last month, as well a woman who fled the scene with him.
She spoke to the victim, a 40-year-old man who is still in critical condition, inside the store, at 55th and Wyalusing streets. Then, on the corner, she appeared to be talking with him as the suspect crossed the street, pulled out a small, black revolver and fired several shots.
The pair fled the scene following the shooting, which happened at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, authorities said.
Detectives described the suspect as a Black man with a medium build and complexion.
