Stunning video shows a malfunctioning escalator at the Wells Fargo Center tossing hockey fans into a heap on the floor.
The speeding escalator began rapidly moving on Saturday afternoon while fans were leaving after a game against the Ottawa Senators, which the Flyers won 3-2.
The escalator was closed down for the rest of the night.
Some spectators reported seeing older people taken away in wheelchairs but no serious injuries were reported.
“We are working with the operator on investigating this incident,” said a stadium rep in a statement.
