VIDEO: Trio sought in Logan attack

One man is in police custody and three others are being sought for an alleged assault and attempted robbery in Logan.

Authorities said the attack happened around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday on the 4500 block of North 19th Street. A male reported that four unknown males approached him and demanded money. When he refused, the suspects allegedly kicked and punched him. The victim tried to flee into Mora’s Mini Mart, but the attackers followed him and continued the assault, which was caught on a surveillance camera.

When police arrived, they arrested one man who was identified as Matthew Walden, 27, from the 4500 block of North Uber Street.

The victim was treated for injuries to his head and torso, authorities said.
