WATCH: Suspect flips off camera, urinates on Northeast Philly synagogue

The Philadelphia Police are looking for a man who was spotted on surveillance cameras urinating on a synagogue in the city’s Somerton neighborhood early Sunday.

Police said the incident was recorded by cameras at about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, when a man was spotted at the Congregation Beth Solomon located at 198 Tomlinson Rd.

The male approached the front doors, and as can be seen in the video, he “gave an obscene hand gesture in the direction of the camera, then began to urinate on the walls and sidewalk directly in front of the doors of the synagogue,” according to the police report.

Authorities said that after the incident, the man entered the passenger seat of a white four-door sedan and fled the area.

Law enforcement officials have described the wanted male as being about 20 years of age, with a thin build, light complexion, short beard, black hair, and, at the time of the incident, he was wearing a white shirt and jeans.

The Philadelphia Police are asking anyone who may have information about this crime to contact the Northeast Detective Division at 215-686-3153/3154. Anonymous tips can also be made online here.
