You might be too old to go trick-or-treating but there’s plenty of Halloween fun in Philly that is strictly for adults. It’s the only time of year where rocking zombie chic is socially acceptable outside of a comic convention, people. So get dressed to excess and fill up your social calendar with these spooky soirees. Drinking cobwebbed cocktails is so much better than subpar Halloween candy, anyway. For the second year in a row, this museum of medical oddities is embracing the spirit of Halloween with an unforgettable costume party. It might be too scary for some—many of the skeletons and “wet specimens” are the real deal. Morgan Pier will close out the 2016 season with its annual Halloween Bash. Featuring an open bar, there will even be a costume contest — in case you needed extra incentive to go all out.
America’s most decorated battleship makes for one heck of a Halloween party location. For the 11th year in a row, The Philadelphia Experiment will welcome 2,000 people to the ship for a spectacular night of revelry. TJ Kong Halloween Costume Ball Rock N Roll Murdershow For the seventh year in a row, Philly band TJ Kong & the Atomic Bomb will host their much-loved Halloween event at Underground Arts. Featuring some of the best live music from the region, this party is also budget friendly at only $15. Ben FM’s The B52’s Halloween Scream For slightly older music lovers with less of a foothold in the local scene, radio station Ben FM is hosting a Halloween event at The Fillmore with the legendary B52’s. Given it’s a Sunday night, the party starts a little earlier so you’re fresh for work Monday.
