Police in Philadelphia said they are investigating the alleged kidnapping and sexual assault of a 20-year-old woman who they say was held captive for nearly 11 hours Saturday.
The woman claimed she was abducted at gunpoint at 4 a.m. Saturday around 49th Street and Lancaster Avenue by a man who forced her into his car, according to police.
The victim reportedly described the suspect’s vehicle as a black car with tinted windows with its rear left window covered by a trash bag.

The female victim and male suspect knew each other, according to cops, and had numerous previous encounters, said a source familiar with the investigation. The victim is believed to have been working at an unlicensed establishment prior to the incident.
The suspect is described as a black man, about 23 years old, with dreadlocks and a long beard.
