Woman attacked on college campus

A 26-year-old woman was reportedly sexually assaulted after her missing her Regional Rail stop this weekend. Police said the victim encountered her assailant on the Chestnut Hill East line (formerly the R7) and, during the course of a conversation with him, missed her stop around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Though police said they didn’t get on the train at the same station, both left it at the Chestnut Hill station. They reportedly walked around looking for a way for her to get back to the stop she missed and when they reached the 9600 block of Germantown Ave., the attacker pulled her into an alcove on Chestnut Hill College’s campus and sexually assaulted her.
