Woman Critical After Chuckles Bar Stabbing in Kensington

Police are investigating a stabbing inside a Kensington bar that left one in critical condition early this morning.

A woman, 30, was stabbed once in the stomach during an altercation inside Chuckles Bar on the 3000 block of Frankford Avenue shortly after 12:30 a.m.

She was taken to Hahnemann Hospital in critical condition.

Early reports indicated that police had taken another woman into custody for the crime, but police have not yet been able to confirm the arrest.
