Woman killed by bus in West Philly

WYNNEFIELD – A 65-year-old woman was struck and killed by a SEPTA bus at the intersection of North 54th Street and City Line Avenue on Saturday afternoon.

The victim, whose identity was not released yesterday pending family notification, was crossing City Line Avenue in the crosswalk when a Route 52 bus turned onto City Line and struck her, police said. The collision remains under investigation.
