Woman shot in Kensington dies

The woman who was shot in the forehead in Kensington Sunday has died, police said.

Christina Figueroa, 25, was wounded at 4:16 p.m. at Ruth and Orleans streets and rushed to Temple University Hospital in extremely critical condition. She died this morning at 8:30 a.m., authorities confirmed.

Investigators have not released a motive or made any arrests.

Police are still looking for two Hispanic males with thin builds who were last seen fleeing through a park at F Street and Indiana Avenue and
then driving westbound on Indiana in a white coupe, possibly an Acura
or a Honda.
