BREAKING Hunting Park storeowner critical after botched robbery

A Hunting Park storeowner was shot this evening during an attempted robbery, police said.

The victim, 38, was shot in the back at Gil’s Deli on the 700 block of West Luzerne Street at 7:18 p.m. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he is in critical condition.

Police have no offender information at this time.
