Have leftover brown sugar from all that Thanksgiving baking? Turn it into a sweet seasonal cocktail with Art in the Age’s Snap craft spirit. Cheers to the holidays!
Brown Sugar Snap Swizzle
Ingredients:
1 part Snap
1 oz. brown sugar syrup
3 dashes orange bitters
2 oz. sparkling wine
Preparation:
To make the brown sugar syrup, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of brown sugar in a sauce pan over medium-high heat and stir to dissolve the sugar. Cover, remove from heat and let cool. Store in a glass bottle and refrigerate for up to two weeks.
To make the cocktail, combine all ingredients except the sparking wine and shake with ice cubes. Fine-strain into a chilled flute, top with sparkling wine and garnish with an orange twist.
