Eight-Year-Old Injured in Haddington Hit-And-Run

A hit-and-run injured an eight-year-old boy in Haddington Saturday night.

A 2001 Buick Park Avenue was driving northbound on the 1400 block of Hobart Street when the boy darted out between cars and was struck. The driver fled the scene.

The child was taken to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in stable condition. The Park Avenue was recovered less than a half-mile away, at 58th and Media streets.

Police are still searching for the driver.
