Fishtown Fall Feastivale returns with more food, vendors, and family fun

As the Autumn air blows through the City of Brotherly Love, so does the announcement that Fishtown’s large street festival is set to return as Fishtown Fall Feastivale is back and bigger than ever.

Set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 28, from noon to 8 p.m., Fishtown’s Fall Feastivale will feature more food, a larger footprint, and more family fun than ever before. Folks in attendance will be able to enjoy outdoor food and drinks, live music—including German folk music for Oktoberfest and three different DJ stages — as well as carnival games, local artists and community groups, and a charity celebrity dunk tank.

The fall festivities will also feature plenty of vendors and will showcase some of the special seasonal sips brewed in and around Fishtown, including Evil Genius Beer Company, Two Robbers Spirits Co., Front Street Cafe, FNA Beer Tent Fundraiser, Johnny Brenda’s, Bottle Bar East/ Mom Mom’s Kitchen, Kraftwork, Heffe Tacos, R&D, LMNO, Frankford Hall, Fette Sau, Interstate Drafthouse/ Meyers Brewing Co., Fiore, La Colombe, Kismet Bagels, Tatsu Tea, Calle del sabor, Humpty’s Dumplings, Fishtown Pickle Project, and more.

“Fishtown District has become a top destination for foodies city-wide,” said Fishtown District Director of Operations Kae Anderson. “Fishtown Fall Feastivale is the perfect way to eat your way down Frankford Avenue. It is our biggest line-up of restaurants and bars ever. Come find your favorites, or try something new and different.”

For those celebrating Oktoberfest or those interested in experiencing the event for the first time, Frankford Hall is hosting a special block party inside of Fishtown Fall Feastivale. Oompah music will rule the air, while crafts, balloon arts, and face painting will dazzle the crowd.

In addition to the food, drink, and craft options, folks attending Fishtown Fall Feastivale should be sure they come ready to danceJohnny Brenda’s and Fishtown District will program three different DJ stages. The music will run the entirety of the day, from noon to 8 p.m., and the line-up will be announced in mid-September.
