The Philadelphia Flyers have agreed to a five-year, $22.5 million deal with free agent Vincent Lecavalier.

The longtime Tampa Bay Lightning center won the Rocket Richard Award as the NHL’s top goal-scorer in 2006-07. He won the Stanley Cup with the team in 2004.

Lecavalier became a free agent when the Lightning bought out his contract last week.

The 33-year-old center scored 10 goals and added 22 assists in 39 games during the lockout-shortened 2012-13 NHL season. He has383 goals and 491 assists over his 14-year NHL career.

Lecavalier’s best season came in 2006-07, when he scored 52 goals and had 56 assists.
