Steven “Gorilla” Mondevergine, 57, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and related charges today for shooting a rival Pagan inside the motorcycle gang’s Tacony clubhouse in 2008.
The victim, Timothy Flood, survived the attack but was shot in the knee and stabbed in the back. Mondevergine was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison today.
Mondevergine was formerly a Philadelphia police officer, has been shot nine times and is rumored to have mob ties. He was jailed in 2001 and served three years on racketeering charges.
