Chomping At The Bit IPA Launch Event

Urban Village in Northern Liberties has partnered with the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Association (PHRA) for one new special brewery collaboration to benefit a good cause. Urban and the PHRA teamed up to create a limited-edition Chomping At The Bit IPA, a slightly hazy IPA with tropical flavors.

As part of the partnership, every six-pack sold will support efforts to ethically ensure the proper care, rehoming, and training of retired horses at Turning for Home, a nonprofit adoption program, and the public is invited out to celebrate the event this Thursday. Activities run from 5 to 8 p.m. on July 29 and include an inflatable pony race, a photo op with an old racer, a chance to be one of the first to taste the IPA and more. There are no entry fees, however, reservations are recommended.
