Around the holidays, this hotspot has always served as a destination providing gifts for foodies and those looking to find something interesting and unique. Now, Di Bruno’s is offering all of that same magic, just in a pop-up located in their once-vacant lot on 9th Street in the Italian Market. The shop itself will also get you in the Christmas spirit just with its atmosphere, which includes a twinkling tree and live music. Shoppers can also sit and sip at one of several tables on the Piazza and at the Bottle Shop Streetery, with beer, wine, brioche grilled cheese and cheese and charcuterie boards available for your enjoyment, according to a release. The pop-up will also include rotating vendors (ranging from Maidencreek floral, Aurora Grace Chocolates, Farmer Jawn and more) and if you want to shop from the comfort of your own home, that can also be done. Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market

The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market is one of those sought-after traditions that many flock to on a mission to find one-of-a-kind gifts, sweet and savory snacks, and plenty of opportunities to find holiday cheer. This year, the design for the open-air market will be a little different to help keep the flow of foot traffic as spaced out and safe as possible—that includes nixing the usual food and vendor mix for a pre-packaged version of treats that are meant to be brought home.

In accordance with city and state guidelines, the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market will feature a reduced number of vendors. All vendors will be spaced out throughout the park, and set-up at least ten feet apart from each other to allow for proper social distancing while shopping. However, there is still going to be the familiar shopping opportunities and a few other added exciting amenities. The Christmas Village Carousel will once again be housed in the City Hall Courtyard. The carousel has been a fan favorite for five years, and in addition, Christmas Village will also bring back additional vendors set up in a socially distanced way around the courtyard to complement the carousel. To help keep everyone safe, carousel operators will follow state and city guidelines and take all necessary precautions in response to Covid-19 including less carousel seats, a crowd-controlled waiting line allowing proper social distancing and a strict cleaning protocol.

Vendor-wise, the Market will feature and highlight a slew of local options. Sticking to its name, the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market has become known for its selection, whereas Christmas Village will continue to feature vendors from around the globe.
