Kanye West postpones Philly concert after Kim Kardashian robbed in Paris

KanyeWest has rescheduled his Wells Fargo Center show in Philadelphia for Tuesday nightafter his wife Kim Kardashian was tied up by armed robbers in Paris.

The stop on his Saint Pablo Tour will now take place on Dec. 13, according to Live Nation. Ticket holders can use their original tickets on that date.

West has also reportedly canceled a show in Detroit that was set for Thursday night. That concert will now take place on Dec. 22. He is set to resume his tour on Friday in Chicago.

Kanye West abruptly ended a performance in New York City on Sunday night, citing a family emergency.

“Due to an emergency, Kanye West had to end his performance early,” the Meadows Music Festival said in a post on Twitter, adding “Please get home safely.”

“I’m sorry I have a family emergency, I have to stop the show,” West said in video footage posted on Twitter by fans who were filming the performance in the New York borough of Queens.

West had been on stage for just under an hour when he said he had to leave. He did not specify the nature of the emergency.

Fan reaction on social media sites was mixed, with some saying emergencies can happen to anyone, but others complaining they had paid $300 for tickets and didn’t get their money’s worth.

Media reports soon revealed that the emergency was that his wife, Kardashian, had been robbed at gunpoint in her Paris residence by masked men who stole some $10 million worth of jewelry.

Five attackers, wearing ski masks and clothes with police markings, reportedly struck around 3 a.m. inside the exclusive apartment block where Kardashianwas staying while attending Paris Fashion Week.
