Leonard Egland: Manhunt for soldier ended

An Army soldier from Virginia wanted for allegedly murdering three people in that state this weekend before driving to a home near New Hope and killing a woman in her own living room killed himself, reports said.

Leonard John Egland, 37, stationed at Fort Lee, Va., was found last evening in Warwick. He allegedly shot his estranged wife and two others earlier this weekend. He allegedly shot his former mother-in-law to death in Buckingham Township on Saturday while his 9-year-old daughter waited in the car, Bucks County authorities said.

His body was found a short distance from the location of the shootout with police the night before.
