Everyone wants to try the best, and now you can.

Main Line Today and Today Media will officially be hosting the return of the Best of the Main Line and Western Suburbs Party on Thursday, July 28, at the Drexelbrook Special Event Center—and Philadelphians are invited to experience it for themselves. While there, visitors will be able to check out the 2022 winners that span top restaurants, bars, retail shops, small businesses and people of the region as voted by the community and critics of the area.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday evening, over 50 vendors and special guests will be on-site showcasing food and drink from this year’s winners, while guests dance to live music from the award-winning band Jellyroll and participate in a silent auction to benefit the Brandywine SPCA.

“The party of the year is back on the Main Line,” said Main Line Today Associate Publisher Marie Edwards in a statement. “Celebrate this unforgettable evening of bites, drinks and dancing — and get ready to toast the best of the best We are thrilled to be back inside the ballroom with an exciting and diverse line-up of winners that include the region’s best restaurants, bars, boutiques and so much more. This event is truly a celebration of the top quality businesses and people that make the Main Line and Western Suburbs special. We can’t wait to see everyone again. Every July, Main Line Today publishes its highly anticipated ‘Best of the Main Line & Western Suburbs’ issue highlighting the finest in food, drink, services and personalities, and this year, 300 winners were selected. 

Some of the participating who’s who in the area at the event will include Brick and Brew, Bridge Street Chocolates, Evolve Yoga and Beyond, Osuhsi, Lola’s Garden, Plant Roots, White Dog Cafe, The Bakery House, The Penn Woods Winery and much more. Overall, visitors will be able to peruse through vendors from a variety of categories including food, fitness, collectibles, creatives and beyond.

The Best of the Main Line and Western Suburbs Party will also feature NBC10 meteorologist Bill Henley as the emcee of the party, plus, NBC10 news anchor Tracy Davidson and other special guests that include Chef Jose Garces and WMMR’s Pierre Robert.

Main Line Today’s event will also work with the Brandywine SPCA as this year’s beneficiary. Guests will be invited to support the organization, meet the staff and some adoptables, and bid on the silent auction that will go to fund the group’s critical animal welfare and rescue work while on site. Founded in 1929, the Brandywine Valley SPCA exists to end animal suffering and to involve the entire community in the welfare and well-being of animals, according to their website. Their mission is to put the “human” back in humane animal treatment and advocate on their behalf, and their vision is to be the recognized leader in animal welfare that empowers communities to treat life with respect and dignity.

And finally, for the event this Thursday, VIP tickets will also be available for $75. The VIP experience boasts a special lounge featuring a guest appearance by James Beard Award Winner and Iron Chef Jose Garces, and VIP samples by Buena Onda, Brick and Brew, Drexelbrooke and Penns Woods Winery.
