Police arrested a man today for allegedly murdering three people in North Philadelphia during a quadruple shooting last year.
Arlando Pickett, 25, of the 6800 block of Algard Street in Wissinoming, is charged with murder and weapons offenses for his involvement in the murder of Duane Talley, 36, Craig Lassiter, 38, and Mashanda English, 33, police said.
The three were discovered laying in the street around 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 4, 2011, when officers responded to a report of gunshots on the 3000 block of North 8th Street near Indiana Avenue in the Fairhill section of North Philadelphia.
Lassiter was pronounced dead on the scene, while Talley died shortly after arriving at Temple University Hospital and English succumbed to her injuries two days later. Police said at the time that, based on the number of shell casings, they believed an assault rifle was used.
It is unclear if there are additional suspects in the case.
