The venue’s “Put The Lime In The Coconut” ($16) boasts Beach Island Coconut Whiskey, shaken with fresh lime juice and syrup, a splash of St Germain Elderflower Liqueur, then strained and served up with an edible marigold garnish to finish it off.

The recently opened Rittenhouse Square hotspot Bolo is celebrating the spirited day with a few different options, all of which Philadelphians can sip on at the venue’s first-floor rum bar.
Highlights include the “La Floridita” ($12), comprised of Plantation 3 Star Rum, key lime, and sugar, the “Hemingway” ($14), composed of Plantation 3 Star Rum, maraschino, grapefruit, lime, and angostura, the “Hurricane” ($15), fashioned with Cruzan Black Strap Rum, Don Q Cristal Rum, passionfruit, and lime, and the “Don Johnny” ($15), prepared with El Dorado 12 Year Rum, sofrito shrub, and lime.

Stratus Rooftop Lounge
What better way to celebrate National Daiquiri Day than by sipping on the summertime libation high in the sky at this rooftop lounge? Stratus will be offering the “No Comp-Rum-Ise”, aka a daiquiri made with Plantation 3 Star Rum, blackberry syrup, lime juice, Wrap and Nephew Overproof Rum, then garnished with a blackberry and lime wheel. This new spin on the drink was crafted by Lead Bartender Patrick Banko, and is available to purchase on the spirited holiday and beyond.

Red Owl Tavern
Before or after visiting Stratus, Philadelphians can also check out Red Owl Tavern, located on the ground floor of the same hotel. At this venue, diners can sip on a drink crafted by lead bartender Christopher Devern. The “Don’t Mind If I Dew” ($16), is made with Plantation 3 Star Rum, falernum, Pisco, honeydew syrup, lemon juice, and rose water, then garnished with edible flowers. Beverage Director Shawn Miller and the team at Forsythia will be mixing up their own play on the Hemingway Daiquiri with “The Gertrude Stein” ($16), made with Smith and Cross Navy Strength Rum, bitter melon-infused white rum, key lime juice, Cherry Herring, and simple syrup.

The Phoenixville distillery offers a variety of tropical drinks for the sunny season, and for the spirited day, they will be serving up their classic Daiquiri for $10 (made with Bluebird Distilling Sugarcane Rum, fresh lime, and sugar) plus the “Polynesian Pocket Square” for $12 (essentially a riff on the classic rum-based libation made with Bluebird Distilling Sugarcane Rum, Bluebird Distilling Dark Rum, grapefruit cordial, fresh lime, spiced oat syrup, fresh ginger, mint, and cinnamon.)
