Festive ways to spend New Year’s in Philadelphia

New Year's in Philadelphia
White Dog Cafe

2023 is coming to a close, and to welcome the next chapter, here are a few fun ways to spend New Year’s in Philadelphia.

White Dog Cafe Pajama Brunch

Now in its 35th year, White Dog Cafe will once again host its pajama-clad New Year’s Day brunch (and yes, everyone is welcome to come in their bed-wear.) The a la carte brunch menu will span treats like seasonal mocktails, a classic cage-free egg white omelet, an avocado BLT and plenty of other tasty bites.

Every location (in Wayne, Haverford, Glen Mills and West Philadelphia) will be participating in the occasion, and reservations are encouraged.

SNACKTIME: Spring Break On New Year’s Eve

To celebrate the closing of 2023, SNACKTIME will be hosting an end-of-the-year bash, aka an “MTV Spring Break”-inspired evening that will feature special guest performances from Brooklyn-based jazz fusion group Olivia K and the Parkers, plus local DJ and radio talent Killsing.

SNACKTIME will also be playing some sets with the background of thematic décor (think beach balls and lifeguard stands) and the evening will also feature contests and merch drops—including the SNACKTIME Basketball Jerseys. Guests are encouraged to show up donning their best Spring Break gear, doors open at 8 p.m. and performances start at 9 p.m.
