Authorities are investigating a homicide in Nicetown.
Officers responding to the 4000 block of Nice Street at 8:30 p.m. last night found Francisco Rivera, 57, of the 1500 block of Longshore Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene less than 15 minutes later.
Rivera was reportedly shot in the back of the head as he exited his car.
Police have not yet made any arrests and the motive is unknown.
