Ocean Prime’s pre-theater menu includes free swag and champagne

As if going out for a night at the theater wasn’t enough, Ocean Prime, Center City steakhouse and seafood hotspot, is offering theatergoers pretty fancy perks to go along with their stellar pre-theater menu.

Guests who show their ticket before a show will get a complimentary glass of sparkling wine in addition to a swag bag of Ocean Prime’s truffle popcorn. If you happen to dine at Ocean Prime after the show, you’ll get a complimentary glass of sparkling wine as well. Cheers to that!

The pre-theater menu is a shining star in itself and is available everyday before 6:30 p.m. for $49/person and includes three courses with options like white truffle caviar deviled eggs, sea scallops, a filet with whipped potatoes, haricot verts and cabernet jus, creme brulee and more.

Bringing the kids? There’s even a young adult menu for guests 13 and under that includes a 5 oz. petite filet mignon ($12), broiled salmon ($8) and macaroni & cheddar cheese ($6) that’s served with golden delicious apple sauce. Side options include mashed potatoes, hand cut fries, buttered corn, steamed broccoli or tossed salad.

There’s a ton of shows that are within walking distance from Ocean Prime over the holiday season, like “Annie” (now through Jan. 7) at the Walnut Street Theatre; “Finding Neverland” (Nov 21 — Nov 26) at the Academy of Music; and “The Color Purple” (Dec 12 — 17) at the Forrest Theatre. Add to the experience with a great meal.

Ocean Prime is located at 124 S. 15th St.
