Police on Friday nabbed a suspect in the kidnapping and torture of a Jewelers’ Row worker at a South Carolina hotel.
Khayree Gay, 31, who was previously busted in 2008 for trafficking heroin out of Philadelphia, was arrested by ATF agents, 6ABC reported.
But two other men suspected of pulling a female Jewelers’ Row worker into a minivan and tasing her seven times while demanding she provide the combination to get into her employers’ safe are still wanted.
The victim, 53, was grabbed around 4 p.m. April 4 near 7th and Chestnut streets, zip-tied, hooded, and told she would be murdered if she did not provide safe codes for the store she worked. She told the kidnappers she did not know the codes.
The three kidnappers used her debit card at a Wawa and Chinese restaurant before dumping her in a Darby Township cemetery.
