Where to celebrate Passover and Easter in Philadelphia

High Street Philly

High Street Philly will be offering a Passover Package for Philadelphians, available to pick up on April 15 or 16 (available hot and ready or with cooking instructions.) Highlights include the chicken liver mousse with High Street’s homemade matzo crackers, the slow-cooked pomegranate glazed lamb shank or salmon with zaatar and beet labneh—and much more. Both entrees will be served with spring vegetables and apricot-marcona almond couscous, and there will be a flourless chocolate cake for a total of $60 per person ($20 additionally for a Seder plate.) In addition, High Street will also be offering bread and baked goods for Passover and Easter from April 14 to 22. Think hot cross buns, carrot cake, lemon poppyseed babka and much more, available to order through Tock.

Kouklet Brazilian Bakehouse

Looking for something different this year? East Passyunk’s Kouklet Brazilian Bakehouse will be offering up a Brazilian Easter tradition until supplies last. Options available for pre-order (recommended) include the Ovo de Páscoa de Colher (half of a chocolate egg shell filled with layers of chocolate cake and rich chocolate mousse for $59); the Ovo de Páscoa Trufado (a chocolate egg shell filled with brigadeiro truffle for $28); Bombom de Brigadeiro (a traditional Brigadeiro Bonbon, bite-sized, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate, 2 for $5); and the Sonho de Cenoura e Chocolate (sourdough carrot donuts filled with condensed milk chocolate custard for $5).

Harp & Crown

Harp & Crown is known for its popular brunches, and now on Easter Sunday, Philadelphians can indulge themselves. According to a release, Harp & Crown will offer their normal breakfast buffet for $35 per person on April 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Juice and coffee are included as beverage options, with Mimosas, Bellinis, and Bloody Marys available to add on. The buffet features a create-your-own donut station, a variety of bagels with toppings, made-to-order omelets, meat and cheese, artisanal sandwiches, and a selection of house-made pastries to round it all up.

Forsythia 

The popular French restaurant will be offering an “elevated, deluxe-course” meal to celebrate Easter 2022 in Philadelphia. For $80 per person, Philadelphians can indulge in a black truffle crepe, their quiche du jour, buttermilk panna cotta, chocolate olive oil gâteau and much more when they head to the Old City establishment. Easter brunch will be held on Sunday, April 17 from 10:30 a.m. to to 6 p.m., and reservations are highly encouraged.

Bridget Foy’s 

This family-owned business knows how to celebrate Easter Sunday, and it also offers the best view of the Easter Promenade resting at the corner of South and 2nd streets. And there are two opportunities to indulge on April 17 for both brunch and dinner if you’re looking to celebrate Easter 2022 in Philadelphia. There will be both brunch and dinner specials plus other holiday additions—including the Easter ham with scalloped potatoes, green beans and bearnaise sauce. For those with a sweet tooth, Bridget Foy’s will once again offer their rainbow pastel multi-layered Easter Cake with buttercream and cream cheese as well. Easter brunch starts at 10:30 a.m. and Easter dinner begins at 4 p.m. Reservations are available.

Figo Ristorante

Figo will be launching its first-ever Easter brunch, and as an added bonus there will be some photo opps with the Easter Bunny from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Brunch specials at the Northern Liberties hotspot include lamb lollipops, jumbo shrimp cocktail, scallop scampi, vegetable papperadelle and much more.

Craft Hall

Craft Hall recently launched a new buffet-style brunch program with bottomless drinks…So you could say this is a no-brainer. Your two hour reservation time includes bottomless mimosas, house mixed drinks, beer and wine, and the endless Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet with Easter favorites added for the day. Hours will also be extended on April 17, and kiddos will leave with goodie bags. Price comes out to be $45 per person for adults and $20 for guests under 21, and free for kids under five.

Steak 48

Why not go fancy for Passover and Easter 2022 in Philadelphia? Steak 48 will be offering its full menu of upscale, modern fine dining steakhouse dishes for lunch and dinner with hours ranging from 1  to 9 p.m. Guests can enjoy the restaurant’s signatures including a variety of prime steaks, a fresh raw bar, seafood options, mouth-watering appetizers, decadent sides, indulgent desserts and refreshing drinks on April 17. A few stand outs include the lump crab cakes, Australian Heritage Rack of Lamb, and the cookie butter kiss dessert. Steak 48 is also happy to offer matzo for the table during Passover, instead of a bread basket.

Fork

To celebrate Easter 2022 in Philadelphia, Fork will be offering a two-course brunch menu for $45 per person. Offerings range from a chilled pea soup to white fish rilletes and more for the first course, to Easter ham with sunny eggs, polenta, a dry aged burger and more for the second course. To round out the meal with some sweet finishes, guests can choose from their carrot cake, chocolate cremeux and coconut custard for dessert. Guests will also have the option to add on hot cross buns, assorted pastries, and 1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell to further customize their experience.
