A panel of law enforcement and community leaders, including deputy police commissioner Kevin Bethel and others, will be speaking at a town hall meeting Wednesday night on the ongoing issue of police-community relations.
The “Philly After Ferguson” event, organized by local journalist Christopher Norris, will include a discussion and Q&A with the public on the themes of “policing, politics and perceptions.”
Tanya Brown-Dickerson, whose son Brandon Tate-Brown was killed by police officers Dec. 15 while allegedly going for a gun, will tell the story of her son.
Other speakers will include Daily News editor Michael Days and SEPTA Police Chief Thomas Nestel III.
The town hall will be held Wednesday, Feb. 11, starting at 6 p.m. at Catalyst for Change Church, at 3727 Baring St.
