On Tuesday, Oct. 24, local leaders, guests and prospective residents to the 49-story Cira Centre South to check out the new AKA University City residences there.
Guests enjoyed light bites from the Walnut Street Cafe, which is located on the first floor of the building, and were able to take a tour of Level 28 — the high end amenities floor.
While the application period for tenants began in January of 2017, this was the official opening party. A few celebrity tenants lived in the building temporarily while filming in town, like Kevin Hart and Nicole Kidman.
Hart loved his temporary residence and would do Instagram stories of his place regularly.
