Philadelphia is changing into a winter wonderland to celebrate the holiday season.
The eye-catching decorations outside homes are nearly an art form in neighborhoods like South Philly’s tiny 2700 block of Smedley Street, which has its annual Christmas Light Spectacular; and thefamous Miracle on South 13th Street. Families compete over who can put up the most colorful, eye-catching displays, and viewers are the winners. But the holiday spirit can also be found in different locations throughout the city, including the Christmas tree at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Here are a few photos that should fill you with holiday cheer.
