Julius Erving is a basketball legend, inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993 and named as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History in 1996. Known as “Dr. J,” he helped usher in a style of playing above the rim.
This past weekend, the Julius Erving Golf Classic was held in Philadelphia and included appearances from Julius Erving, Allen Iverson, Chris Tucker, Shaquille O’Neal and more. On the evening of Sept. 11, the “Black Tie” Ball portion of the weekend was held at the Sofitel.
