Two men were shot and killed in South Philadelphia Friday night in what investigators believe was a murder-suicide.
Police said that officers responded shortly before 6 p.m to a home on the 600 block of Fitzgerald Street, about a half a block above Ritner Street.
They found a 44-year-old man lying in the second floor hallway with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Officers found in the second-floor middle bedroom a 53-year-old man who had been shot in the torso.
Both men died on the scene. Their identities have not been released.
