Police release video of mass shooting in Fishtown

Police released surveillance video showing a gunman firing into a group of people Friday night outside of a bar in Fishtown.

Seven people were injured in the shooting, and four were initially listed in critical condition. The victims were all men and ranged in age from 17 to 42, according to authorities.

It occurred at around 8 p.m. near the Golf and Social Bar on the 1000 block of Delaware Avenue, police said. In the video, the suspect is seen walking toward a crowd of people gathered on the sidewalk before opening fire.

Officers who arrived at the scene found two of the men who had been shot inside a nearby 7-Eleven. Several more were inside the bar, and three others arrived at Jefferson University Hospital in a private car, police said.

Detectives found 21 spent shell casings at the scene and blood inside the 7-Eleven and bar.

Surveillance footage from the Rivers Casino parking lot showed several people gathering around a white SUV and white sedan before leaving in another car, authorities said.

Investigators found the vehicles unattended. There were two handguns inside the SUV, and the sedan had been reported stolen, according to police.
