Police seek suspect in South Street shooting

Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect who they say opened fire on a victim after an apparent incident of road rage last month.

Just after 1 a.m. onAug. 21, at the intersection of 12th and South streets, the suspect, driving a black BMW, nearly struck the victim’s vehicle, police said. The two drivers exchanged words briefly, before the suspect exited his vehicle and fired a gun several times at the victim, striking the victim’s car, as seen in surveillance video below.

The suspect, described as a black man wearing a white shirt, black shorts, white socks, white sneakers and a khaki bucket hat, fled in an unknown direction.
