Police Seek Suspects in Three Separate Shootings that Wounded Four Friday

Police are investigating three unrelated shootings that occurred within hours of one another on Friday.

A man, 30, is in stable condition at Temple University Hospital after he was shot in the leg, then pistol-whipped in the face by an unknown male while walking on the 2900 block of North Van Pelt street in Allegheny West at 5 p.m. He ran toward Cambria Street, where he asked people to call police.

Investigators are looking for an 18-year-old, 5-foot-six black male between 135 to 140 pounds with a dark complexion in connection with the incident.

Two men were shot less than two hours later at Reese and Cambria streets in Fairhill shortly after 6:30 p.m. One victim, 36, was shot in the lower back and taken to Temple in critical condition and the second victim, 20, was shot in the leg and ran to the steps of an abandoned property around the corner on the 3800 block of North Fairhill Street. He is hospitalized in stable condition.

Investigators are seeking an unknown light-skinned man wearing black pants and a black hoodie.

Police responding to a radio call at 7:15 p.m. found a man, 18, shot in the courtyards of the Blumberg Housing Project on the 1500 block of Judson Way in North Philadelphia. He told authorities he was shot by two unknown men as he walked out of a Chinese store at 24th and Oxford streets and ran to the projects, where he collapsed. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the arm and hip.

Police are looking for two unknown black males, both armed and
wearing dark-colored hoodies.

No arrests have yet been made in any of the incidents.
